Most all throttle cable controlled slide valve carbs can be modified
As many of you know, boring a carb to a larger size will increase top end performance. However it has a tendency to reduce lower end throttle response and low end torque.
This is where the "Divider Plate" comes into play. The plate reduces the carb size during the first half of throttle settings, which enhances the sensitivity and the low speed circuitry. This gives you better lower end torque and better throttle response. Note! This is not a power now product, it was created by RB Designs 10 years ago and it has proven it self over and over. This is a custom machined and installed product that actually increases carb flow and increases signal strength on the low speed
Boring a carb along with the divider plate gives better all around performance and throttle response throughout all throttle settings.
Note! This is not a carb cleaning service. Please remove all hoses and vent tubes. Make sure the carb is clean and gas free ready to work on. I always return any of your stock jets, needle, etc.
